RTU Wraps Up 5-Year Strategic Plan with Finalization Sessions at DAP Ortigas

Rizal Technological University (RTU) is on the brink of finalizing its 5-Year Strategic Plan, marking the conclusion of an extensive development process. Clean-up sessions for the plan were successfully conducted on February 1 and 2, 2024, at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in Ortigas.

The event brought together a dedicated group of twenty-eight (28) Technical Working Group (TWG) members. These individuals, carefully selected for their expertise, actively participated in the development of the university’s strategic roadmap for the next five years.

It was led by Dr. Salvacion J. Pachejo, Vice President for Planning, Quality Assurance, and Strategic Initiatives (VPPQASI), and Assoc. Prof. Ella D. Aragon, Director of the Planning Office, faculty members, and administrators from various departments engaged in rigorous discussions and collaborative efforts during the clean-up sessions. The primary objective was to generate the Component 3 Report, a critical milestone in the process. The report encapsulates the Final Draft of RTU’s Strategic Plan for 2024-2028, complete with the final Strategy Map, Performance Scorecard, and Strategic Initiatives Profiles with Implementation Plans.

The completion of the clean-up sessions represents a significant milestone for RTU, marking the imminent finalization of the 5-Year Strategic Plan. The university looks forward to implementing this comprehensive roadmap, fostering growth, innovation, and excellence in the years to come.
