July 3-4, 2024, the Rizal Technological University’s (RTU) administration recently conducted its 2024 Performance and Management Review Meeting, an important event aimed at evaluating the institution’s accomplishments, addressing internal and external issues, and enhancing the performance of external providers. The two-day meeting occurred at the Penthouse of the SNAGAH Building, RTU Main Campus. The review was attended by the university’s executive officials and directors.
Organized by the Quality Assurance Office (QAO) headed by its Director, Dr. Edna P. Conwi, the review focused on several critical targets. These included the status of accomplishment of General Appropriations Act (GAA) targets, agency performance commitment, and addressing external and internal issues. Additionally, QAO reports, the performance of external providers, and the adequacy of resources were thoroughly examined. This comprehensive approach ensures that RTU continues to uphold its commitment to quality education and institutional excellence. The event commenced with Dr. Conwi welcoming the participants, setting a positive tone for the activity. It was followed by a message delivered by Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, University President, highlighting the importance of continuous improvement and dedication to excellence.
The two-day review exudes the collaborative spirit and forward-thinking mindset of RTU’s leadership. The meeting concluded on its second day with closing remarks from Dr. Salvacion J. Pachejo, Vice President for Planning, Quality Assurance, and Strategic Initiatives.
