Rizal Technological University (RTU) emerged at the 2024 INTENSE Program Education Exhibition, held at the SMX Convention Center on April 30, 2024. The event not only highlighted the academic prowess of RTU but also celebrated the richness of Filipino culture through the opening performances of RTU Himig Rizalia and Kultura Rizalia.

Under the theme of international cooperation and educational exchange, RTU showcased its commitment to fostering cultural appreciation and academic excellence. Spearheading this collaboration with INTACT Base Philippines was Mr. Donato Z. Estocada, the Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office of RTU. 

The event was organized in collaboration with Kun Shan University  and the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, further emphasizing the significance of international partnerships in promoting global education. Key university officials, such as Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, RTU President,and Dr. Kristine Y. Opulencia, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA), had shown their support during the program.

The exhibition saw participation from 16 universities from Taiwan, each bringing their unique educational offerings to the forefront. However, it was RTU that stood out prominently, not only in terms of numbers but also in the enthusiasm and dedication of its faculty and students.

RTU boasted the largest delegation of faculty and students among all the universities present, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to international collaboration and academic advancement. The faculty and student attendees hailed from various universities, all converging at the RTU pavilion, which served as a hub of academic exchange and cultural celebration.

The event served as a platform for knowledge sharing, cultural appreciation, and forging new partnerships in the realm of education. RTU’s prominent presence underscored its position as a leading institution in the Philippines and a key player in the global academic arena.

As the curtains closed on the 2024 INTENSE Program Education Exhibition, RTU’s legacy of excellence and cultural vibrancy continued to resonate, leaving an indelible mark on all those who attended.
