The Rizal Technological University (RTU) held its first flag-raising ceremony for the second semester on Monday, January 22, 2024, at RTU Main Quadrangle with participants from administrators, professors, employees, RTU Himig Rizalia, academic divisions, and students from Senior High School (SHS), Junior High School (JHS) and from respective college departments.

Guiding the proceedings was the esteemed Dr. Ma. Salvacion J. Pachejo, Vice President for Planning and Development (VPPD), who not only oversaw the ceremony but also provided an insightful glimpse into the upcoming I-SHOU 2-week Immersion Program slated to take place in Taiwan. This program promises to be a transformative experience, bringing together fifty (50) students from different colleges alongside faculty members and RTU officials. She also announced the university’s proactive stance in preparing for accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) across various college departments. 

As the university gears up for accreditation and international immersion, it stands as a beacon of educational progress, shaping the future of its students and contributing to the advancement of knowledge and skills.
