The Rizal Technological University (RTU) Board of Regents (BOR) convened for its 98th Regular Meeting at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Headquarters in Diliman, Quezon City. Chaired by CHED Commissioner Dr. Ronald L. Adamat, the meeting addressed administrative matters crucial for the university’s continued advancement.
With the leadership of Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, University President, the Board engaged in comprehensive discussions on various agenda items. Dr. Adamat, leading the proceedings, ensured that deliberations were informed and productive, emphasizing the importance of strategic decision-making for RTU’s growth and sustainability.
Dr. Rodolfo L. Ducut, Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA), served as the resource person for administrative matters. Also, Dir. Florante G. Igtiben, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Representative, and Finance Committee (FinCom) Chair, served as the resource person for financial matters.
Moreover, Dr. Julius L. Meneses was sworn in as the new faculty regent during the meeting. Dr. Adamat presided over the oath-taking ceremony, marking the official commencement of Dr. Meneses’ tenure.
