Drawing from the works of renowned educational and psychological theorists, he discussed how understanding student behavior can help educators adopt more effective teaching strategies. He further explored both associative and non-associative methods of learning, emphasizing that creating meaningful connections goes beyond delivering content—it requires empathy, adaptability, and genuine engagement.
During his talk, Mr. Borromeo introduced the acronym NICE, representing the core principles of Nurturing, Impact, Communication, and Engagement. He highlighted how nurturing a supportive classroom environment, making a lasting positive impact, maintaining clear and open communication, and promoting active engagement are essential in inspiring students and enriching their educational experience.
The seminar concluded with Instr. Emeraldo A. Sabit Jr., MAIP, delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude in his closing remarks. He commended the faculty members, students, and organizers for their participation and support, recognizing the Psychology students for their dedication to promoting student-centered and meaningful learning practices.
