RTU ensures that the health and well-being of the whole academic community are in top shape by providing a wellness program through regular Zumba sessions that are also open to the people in the community within the vicinity. A wellness building that houses a fitness gym has also been built to provide a health facility that is accessible to all.
Furthermore, RTU’s Mental Health Awareness Campaign addresses the growing need for mental health support, raising awareness and providing resources to help students manage stress and anxiety. In line with ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment, RTU has proposed the implementation of its own Internal Rules and Regulations (IRR) in accordance with the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, aimed at preventing and addressing bullying within the university. Complementing this effort is the establishment of “University Safe Spaces,” which provides a secure and inclusive environment for all students, ensuring their physical and emotional safety. Together, these initiatives reflect RTU’s holistic approach to promoting well-being and creating a nurturing campus atmosphere.
