JOURNAL OF ASTRONOMICAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE

     The Journal of Astronomical History and Heritage (JAHH) was founded by John Perdrix and Wayne Orchiston in 1998. The journal publishes refereed research papers, review papers, short communications, IAU reports, and book reviews on all aspects of astronomical history and heritage. This includes studies that place the nature and evolution of astronomy in a political, economic, social, historical, and cultural context.
    JAHH is owned by and published by the University of Science and Technology of China. The journal publishes issues quarterly in March, June, September, and December. All papers are refereed prior to publication.
      JAHH is published online only and is fully open access. There are no access or reader charges. No publication fees are charged. All papers in the current and back issues are freely downloadable on this site, as well as on the SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System and the Rizal Technological University website.  JAHH has been approved for inclusion in Scopus in 2022 with an impact factor of 0.94. It is also indexed by the ESCI since 2020.
