This strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone in BRGASO-FSO’s ongoing mission to provide safe, high-quality food services to the entire university community. The program was tailored specifically for food concessionaires operating within the campus, with the goal of cultivating a strong culture of safety, trust, and responsibility.
The training featured a combination of expert-led lectures and interactive demonstrations, equipping participants with actionable knowledge and skills to implement best practices in food safety. Key topics included personal hygiene protocols, proper sanitation techniques, regulatory compliance, and updated food handling and storage guidelines.
The partnership highlights the critical role of inter-agency cooperation in driving public health initiatives within educational settings. Through this endeavor, both food vendors and campus stakeholders are poised to benefit from heightened awareness and strengthened implementation of food safety measures.
With this timely intervention, BRGASO and DOST aim to set a benchmark for safe and sustainable food service operations, contributing to a healthier and more secure campus dining experience for all.
