The RTU Institute of Architecture attends the 49th Annual Convention and Exhibit of the United Architects of the Philippines at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, with the theme Amplify held last April 18-21. It is also touted as the biggest gathering of Filipino Architects in history with 8,000 delegates from all over the country.

The convention was graced by notable speakers like Ar. Felino A. Palafox, Managing Partner of Palafox Associates and President of Palafox Architecture Groups, Inc.; Ar. Royal Pineda, Principal Architect and CEO of Royal Pineda; Dr. Georges Kachaamy; Roland Schinizer; Sen. Aquilino Pimentel; Congressman Christopher de Venecia; and the UAP National President, Ar. Richard M. Garcia.
