In a continuous effort to provide a smooth transition for its newly employed faculty members and administrative personnel, Rizal Technological University (RTU) Human Resource Management Office (HRMO),led by Asst. Prof. Dynehgre C. Villavicencio, successfully conducted a two-day orientation program for new employees.
The first day of the orientation took place face-to-face on February 12, 2025, at the 10th Floor of the Snagah Building. The full-day session, which ran from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, provided new employees with essential information regarding RTU’s policies, mission, and workplace expectations. The in-person format also allowed participants to engage with university leaders and build connections with their colleagues.
To accommodate flexibility and modern learning approaches, the second day of the program was held virtually via Zoom on February 13, 2025, maintaining the same schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This hybrid format demonstrated RTU’s adaptability in integrating modern professional development methods while ensuring that all participants could attend and benefit from the orientation, regardless of location.
The initiative aimed to instill a sense of belonging and preparedness among the new faculty and staff, equipping them with the knowledge and values needed to excel in their roles.
