The 32nd EdukCircle International Convention on Business, an online event, took place on March 29, 2025, bringing together global experts in the field of business and management. The convention served as a platform for discussions on emerging trends, strategic thinking, and the impact of artificial intelligence on businesses.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation “SWOT 2.0: Elevating Strategy with Emerging Trends” by Dr. Ruth Ann Bast, Assistant Teaching Professor of Hospitality Management at Pennsylvania State University, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session featuring notable faculty members, including Instr. Pauline Mae D. Lisiguez of Rizal Technological University’s College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA), BSBA Human Resource Management Department. She actively engaged in insightful discussions alongside Dr. Charmaine P. Pintes and Mr. Jofel John G. Lodriguito of Pangasinan State University San Carlos Campus, Dr. Vina Jayubo Burke of Biliran Province State University, and Dr. Christine J. Concepcion, Dean of the School of Business and Accountancy at Holy Cross College. Their contributions enriched the session with diverse perspectives on strategic business approaches.
Other distinguished speakers at the event included Mr. Vinay Gupta of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, who spoke on “Some Key Considerations to Grow Entrepreneurial Ventures”; Dr. Jochen Wirtz of the NUS Business School at the National University of Singapore, who presented “Intelligent Automation, Service Robots & AI: Implications for Firms, Markets & Society”; Dr. Yuting Zhu of the National University of Singapore, who discussed “AI in Action: Driving Smarter Sales and Deeper Research”; and Dr. Vincent Mak of the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, who explored “Thinking Strategically in a Competitive Market.”
In addition, Asst. Prof. Eduardo Amiado of RTU CBEA’s BS Office Administration Department also represented RTU as a delegate in this international virtual event.
The convention proved to be a valuable learning experience for educators, industry professionals, and students alike, fostering knowledge exchange and professional development in the field of business and entrepreneurship.
