On September 7, 2026, Rizal Technological University (RTU), through the initiative of the Institute of Flexible Learning and Digital Education (IFLDE), signed a new partnership with Audentes Technologies Inc. to bring microcredential programs, certifications, and training programs to Rizalianos, in an effort to ensure that students’ skills remain responsive to industry standards.

Through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), RTU and Audentes ratified their partnership, and University President Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco expressed her anticipation of the positive impact the new partnership will bring. Dr. Kristine Y. Opulencia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, echoed the President’s expectations, adding that the Rizaliano community will surely benefit from the microcredentialing programs Audentes offers.

To elaborate on what Audentes can offer, Mr. Francis Xavier Hernandez, Co-Founder & Vice President of Audentes Technologies, discussed the full scope of what the Rizaliano community can get from the partnership, including internationally recognized certifications and globally aligned training programs. He highlighted how the microcredentials they offer can enhance a student’s professional profile, underscoring the positive effects on Rizalianos’ employability.

Under IFLDE’s institutional oversight and Dr. Faith Micah Balbin’s leadership, Rizaliano students can upskill through Audentes’ platform. From technological tools to business concepts, Audentes’ wide range of topics will be available to Rizalianos.

The partnership forms part of RTU’s steadfast commitment to enhancing post-university opportunities for its students, leveraging its provision of quality education complemented by extracurricular programs to create competent graduates.
