The Academic Affairs Division of Rizal Technological University (RTU) reinforces the University’s commitment to strengthening its academic pillars through technological integration and use of Artificial Intelligence as the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) leads the colleges, institutes, and its specialized academic offices through an intensive AI training program titled “Future-Proofing the Campus: Transforming Academic Operations with Artificial Intelligence”, on October 7 to 9, at Twin Lakes Hotel in Tagaytay City. The training was conducted in partnership with Supervaise, Inc.
Through strategic discussions, breakout sessions, and hands-on exercises, the training equipped RTU’s academic leaders with AI knowledge, tools, and strategies to enhance academic processes, streamline workflows, and enhance knowledge management practices across the division.
With the active participation of the college deans, institute directors, and office heads, led by VPAA Dr. Kristine Y. Opulencia, the initiative reinforces Pandayang Rizalia’s commitment to digital transformation, innovation, technological integration, and future-ready academic operations.
Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, University President, also graced the event, commending the initiative’s innovative approach to strengthening the University’s capacity to support its academic operations by integrating modern and advanced technological tools and advancements.
Through this initiative, the OVPAA division intensifies its efforts in supporting RTU’s commitment to strengthened and future-proofed academic operations that start with inspiring the community through innovation.
