OSAAS Hosts “Mastering the Frontline” Training to Enhance Work Ethics and Professional Client Relations

The Office of the Student and Alumni Affairs Services (OSAAS) at Rizal Technological University (RTU), under the leadership of Dr. Rodrigo DP. Tomas, successfully conducted an in-house training titled “Mastering the Frontline: Work Ethics and Professional Client Relations,” on November 18, 2024. This program aimed to provide OSAAS employees with critical skills to thrive in professional client-facing roles.

The first session, facilitated by Instr. Dr. Rodrigo Tomas explored the importance of work ethics in professional settings. Participants gained insights into maintaining high ethical standards, fostering trust, and building credibility in their interactions. A dynamic Q&A segment followed, allowing attendees to discuss specific scenarios and receive practical advice. 

The second session, led by Asst. Prof. Macrina Violeta Mutuc highlighted the traits and behaviors that define successful frontline professionals. Attendees learned strategies to develop a client-focused mindset and skills essential for delivering exceptional service. 

The final session was discussed by Asst. Prof. Kathleen Ryan Bobadilla tackled the complexities of working with difficult clients. Mrs. Bobadilla shared practical approaches for managing tense situations, communicating effectively, and achieving constructive resolutions, equipping participants to navigate challenging scenarios with confidence.  

The event was graced by all the employees under OSAAS and provided a valuable opportunity to enhance professional competence. The training not only strengthened the work ethics and client relations expertise of attendees but also reinforced RTU’s commitment to producing competent, socially responsible professionals.
