Maker’s Asylum from India Explores Collab Opportunities with RTU

 

Rizal Technological University (RTU) had a meeting with representatives from Maker’s Asylum, a renowned innovation space from India. The visit, held at the Conference Room of the Research and Development Building, aimed to explore potential collaborations between the two institutions.

The Maker’s Asylum delegation comprised Vaibhav Chhabra, Founder of Maker’s Asylum, and Richa Shrivastava, Director. They were welcomed by an esteemed group of RTU officials, including Dr. Magno M. Quendangan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services (VPRIES); Asso. Prof. Ryan Manuel Guido, Director of the Research and Development and Innovation Office (RDIO); Mr. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office; and Ms. Angelica Ombao of the International Affairs and Linkages Office.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in productive discussions focusing on several key areas for potential collaboration. The visit marks a promising step towards fostering international partnerships and enhancing the global reach of RTU’s academic and research programs. Both RTU and Maker’s Asylum expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities that lie ahead and are looking forward to forging a strong and mutually beneficial relationship.

The collaboration is expected to provide RTU faculty and students with new opportunities for growth and development, as well as access to a broader network of innovation and entrepreneurship resources.
