Fil Research, Still On the Go!


In a 3 peat win, since 2018, the student-researchers from the Filipino Department of the College of Education, proved once again the relevance of research in the field.

The paper entitled “PAGLALAPAT NG PORMALISMO SA MGA PILING AKDA NI ROGELIO ORDONEZ TUNGO SA SIMULAING PAGLIKHA NG KOMIKS” by George Canja, Jhemirylle Paula Casava, Rhea Castro, Rona Jane Chiva, EJ Dalmacio, Vanessa Marie Dincol and Asst. Prof. Jacqueline V. Velasco as adviser, got the highest rank and was hailed as first place in the Social Science category. Further, the research by Gladymin Simundac, Imee Martha Tadipa, Justine Tamayo, Daphine Shiela Tayag, John Vincent Tiguelo, Kheyciel Vicente and Dr. Leonardo Adap with the title, “PHILIPPINE FOLKLORE: PAGSIPAT SA ANTAS NG PANINIWALA” won second place.
