For the first time, Rizal Technological University (RTU) College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA) – BSBA Human Resource Management (HRM) Department hosted the Usapang HR: A Student and Alumni Engagement Program, an event that will be remembered as a defining moment in the university’s HRM community.
Bringing together students, alumni, and esteemed mentors, the event fostered meaningful discussions, career insights, and professional connections, marking the beginning of a new tradition in RTU’s HRM program.
At the core of this historic event was the relentless effort of Block 501P and the Head Committee, who meticulously planned and executed every aspect of the program. Their dedication and teamwork set an unprecedented standard for future HR engagements.
Special recognition goes to Instr. John Carlo Consignado, Instr. Jean T. Francisco, Instr. Shantelle Lei Masalonga, and HR Department Program Head, Instr. Ralph Michael S. Imperial, whose invaluable guidance and mentorship paved the way for the event’s success. Their leadership and support empowered students to go beyond expectations and strive for excellence in the HR field.
The event was further elevated by a lineup of distinguished guest speakers who shared invaluable insights into the evolving world of HR. The esteemed panel included Instr. Gabriela Felipe, Ms. AJ Adriene Cisnero, Mr. Ronald Balanquit, Mr. Arnel Chua, Mr. Jean Claude Nigos, and Mr. Joshua Darca.
Their stories and expertise provided attendees with practical knowledge, inspiration, and a renewed sense of purpose, reinforcing the importance of passion and lifelong learning in HR.
The event’s success would not have been possible without the HRM students, whose enthusiasm and active participation created an engaging and dynamic atmosphere. Their curiosity, insightful questions, and eagerness to learn made this first-ever Usapang HR a truly unforgettable experience.
The Usapang HR Alumni and Student Engagement Program is more than just an event—it is a movement, a testament to the power of mentorship, collaboration, and shared learning. This milestone marks the beginning of a new era for RTU’s HR community, one that will continue to inspire, grow, and thrive for generations to come.
