The Master of Arts in Psychology offered by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) of Rizal Technological University (RTU) recently received its Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The granting of COPC no. 311, s. 2025 certifies that the MA Psychology program, as of September 9, 2025, meets the minimum regulatory requirements of the Commission, in accordance with Republic Act no. 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994, and the Commission en banc’s resolution no. R037-2025. The award is the result of RTU CAS’s unwavering diligence in upholding compliance with national standards and ensuring academic excellence across all programs.

RTU’s Department of Psychology underwent the rigorous inspection and assessment of CHED’s Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) in March of last year. The department ultimately proved its capacity to provide quality master level education despite several concerns raised during RQAT’s visit.

True to the University’s commitment to quality higher education, the COPC for the MA Psychology program is a testament to RTU’s and its faculty’s unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards and complying with the regulatory requirements of the governing bodies in education.
