Siklab Creatives and University Public Affairs Group Collab for a Seminar on Personal Branding in the Digital Age

April 28, 2025—A dynamic group of Rizal Technological University (RTU) students from Siklab Creatives, led by 4th-year BSBA Marketing Management Students, successfully organized a highly anticipated business trend seminar titled, “Launch Your Legacy: Personal Branding in the Digital Age” at the Plenary Hall, Estolas Building, RTU Mandaluyong Main Campus. The event drew a considerable audience, eager to learn from industry experts on the art of crafting a compelling personal brand in today’s digital landscape.

The seminar, held under the guidance of Dr. Rome Sherriff G. Montoya, event adviser, in collaboration with the University Public Affairs Office, and chaired by Ms. Isabela Joy Ho, Mr. Jan Rae Castaños, and Mr. Angelo Tua, aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly competitive job market.

The program commenced with an engaging remarks from hosts Mr. Denn Curl Bande and Mr. John Carlo Tana, who seamlessly introduced the event title and set the tone for an informative and interactive experience. Dr. Montoya’s inspiring opening remarks further emphasized the significance of this event’s topic, encouraging attendees to take an active role in shaping their professional identities. 

The first guest speaker, Asst. Prof. John Eric O. Estrellado, UPAO Director delivered a captivating presentation on the importance of personal branding, highlighting its strategic value beyond mere creativity. He stressed the need for individuals to manage their digital footprints effectively, underscoring the lasting impact of online presence on future careers.

The second guest speaker, Ms. Lui Baarde, founder of Passionate Creators, shared her remarkable journey, offering valuable insights into building a successful personal brand. Her emphasis on passion, courage, and perseverance resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring them to pursue their goals with renewed determination.

In conclusion, Chairwoman Isabela Joy Ho expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making the seminar a success.
