Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: RTU promotes peaceful and inclusive societies by fostering ethical leadership and governance.
Ethical leadership and governance are important to a strong institution. As an academe, RTU embraces inclusivity in its workforce, students, and all its dealings with the community it serves. Inclusivity is synonymous with diversity, the more diverse the organization, the greater conflicts arise. RTU developed an internal mechanism that addresses complaints and all forms of harassment through just and peaceful processes. Incidents that breach a free, safe, and secure environment for all are processed and considered confidential to protect the integrity of all parties involved.
The “Drug Literacy: Educating Youth to Stay Drug-free” webinar exemplifies RTU’s commitment to empowering young individuals with knowledge and skills to resist drug abuse, fostering a culture of health and resilience. This educational initiative not only raises awareness about the dangers of substance use but also encourages positive decision-making among students, contributing to safer and more supportive communities. Additionally, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing with No One In Need Foundation, Inc. reflects RTU’s dedication to collaboration with organizations focused on social welfare and justice. This partnership aims to enhance support systems for vulnerable populations, addressing social inequalities and promoting community resilience. Through these initiatives, RTU plays a crucial role in building a foundation for peace, justice, and strong institutions, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a just and equitable society for all.
