The Rizal Technological University (RTU) has been gaining recognition and accolades as a valued partner with various agencies and institutions – a testament to RTU’s increasing relevance leveraging on its commitment to nation building. 

In the celebration of the Department of Science and Technology – Advanced Science and Technology Institute’s (DOST-ASTI) 37th Anniversary, RTU and RTU-Center for Data Science and Smart Analytics were bestowed with a Token of Appreciation in recognition of their invaluable contributions and commitment to advancing technology and innovation, fostering digital transformation, and promoting scientific excellence in the country. 

The event, Advanced Science and Technology Institute Conference (ASTICon)  brought together stakeholders from the private sector, local government units, academia and other government agencies, themed “Together, We Can”, took place at the Novotel Manila, Araneta City on July 18-19, 2024.

ASTICon’s main feature was a themed research presentation sessions focusing on Energy, Environment Monitoring /Protection, Smart Cities, Health, and Emerging Technologies. 

Designed to elevate public awareness of DOST-ASTI’s extensive capabilities exemplified through its innovative projects and services, ASTICon is a platform for engaging and showcasing pioneering contributions to the ICT landscape as well as fostering exchange of ideas, while creating collaborative opportunities between partners. 

As a staunch supporter of development initiatives, RTU raises its banner and commits to serve.
