Strengthening its commitment to global engagement and inclusive education, Rizal Technological University (RTU), through its International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), successfully conducted a Free Virtual Mobility Program on Chinese Tea Culture in partnership with Zhangzhou City Vocational College.
The program gathered at least 29 students from different academic programs across the university, providing them with a unique opportunity to experience international learning in a virtual setting. Despite ongoing global challenges, including the current energy crisis, RTU continues to innovate and ensure that education remains accessible and impactful.
Participants were introduced to the rich heritage and traditions of Chinese tea culture, gaining insights into its historical significance, preparation methods, and cultural symbolism. The sessions also facilitated meaningful cross-cultural exchange, allowing students to deepen their appreciation of global traditions while engaging with international partners.
University officials emphasized that initiatives such as this reflect RTU’s proactive approach to internationalization, leveraging digital platforms to bridge geographical gaps and deliver transformative learning experiences.
The Virtual Mobility Program on Chinese Tea Culture highlights RTU’s dedication to developing globally competent learners while promoting cultural understanding and sustainable education practices in an increasingly interconnected world.
