The Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA), the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA), the Asian Group of Public Administration (AGPA), and the Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Administrative Reform of Indonesia, the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), are hosting the 2024 AAPA-EROPA-AGPA-IAPA Joint International Conference. This prestigious gathering, themed “Towards World Class Bureaucracy,” takes place from November 5-7, 2024, at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

The conference aims to tackle pressing global challenges in public administration and bureaucratic reform, fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange among practitioners and scholars. This collaborative environment enables participants to share insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to improving governmental efficiency and effectiveness in the modern era.

Attending this prestigious event are RTU’s administrators: Dr. Rodolfo L. Ducut, Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA); Mr. Rowell C. Marasigan, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance; Instr. Ian Oliver C. Moscardo, Director of the University Procurement Management Office (UPMO); and Assistant Prof. Dynehgre P. Casasola, Director of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO).

The conference also presents an opportunity for the RTU delegation to reconnect with Dr. Alex Brillantes Jr., who previously served as an RTU Board Regent and is now Secretary-General of EROPA. This reunion highlights RTU’s continued engagement with and contribution to the international public administration community.
