Rizal Technological University’s (RTU) International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO) has recently engaged in discussions with Mr. Erwin Lizarondo, an entrepreneur, incubator, and accelerator. The meeting centered around exploring the potential collaboration with HEC Montreal, a globally recognized institution for management and entrepreneurship based in Canada.
Among the top universities in the world, HEC Montreal is particularly well-known in France and Canada for its knowledge of management and entrepreneurship.
During the face-to-face meeting, key representatives from RTU participated actively, including Instr. Cyrille Anne Rafael, from the BS Entrepreneurship Department; Ms. Angelica Ombao, a faculty member specializing in Entrepreneurship; and Mr. Donato Z. Estocada, the Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office.
Expressing enthusiasm for the potential collaboration, Ms. Rafael highlighted the significance of this partnership for the BS Entrepreneurship students at RTU. She emphasized how such programs not only enhance students’ academic experience but also provide practical insights and opportunities for real-world application of their entrepreneurial skills.
The future cooperation of RTU and HEC Montreal holds promises of mutual benefits, not just for students but also for faculty members. The prospect of faculty development through exposure to global best practices and networking opportunities excites the academic community at RTU.
