September 26, 2024 – The Rizal Technological University (RTU) Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), in collaboration with the General Services Office (GSO) and the Supreme Student Council (SSC), actively participated in the 3rd Quarter National Simulated Earthquake Drill 2024.

Students, faculty, and employees took part in the drill, strictly following the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” protocol, and proceeded with the evacuation procedures, safely reaching the designated evacuation area. This joint effort demonstrated the university’s commitment to disaster preparedness, with the DRRMO, GSO, and SSC working together to ensure the safety and readiness of the entire RTU community.

Through this exercise, RTU continues to foster a culture of resilience and awareness among its members, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to disasters, thus promoting the well-being of all.
