The Cultural Affairs Office, in collaboration with the International Linkages Affairs Office, successfully inaugurated a new institutional partnership with the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF) through a theatrical workshop held on September 11, 2026, at the RTU SNAGAH Penthouse.

Hosted by the Cultural Affairs Office in cooperation with the University’s resident theater group, Dulaang Rizalia, the event followed the theme “TATAK DULAAN: Teach, Act, Inspire.” The initiative was a resounding success, fully meeting TFCF’s objectives by cultivating a dynamic, value-centered learning environment where young participants gained foundational theatrical competencies while embodying meaningful narratives with creativity and purpose.

The program’s three integrated pillars—Teach, Act, and Inspire—provided a coherent pedagogical framework that deepened youth engagement, produced measurable developmental growth among participants, and advanced TFCF’s broader mission of nurturing socially responsible, expressive, and empowered young learners. Ultimately, the collaboration affirms the University’s continuing commitment to community-engaged artistry, demonstrating that theater-based pedagogy can serve as an effective vehicle for education, personal transformation, and cross-cultural community connection.

The partnership marks a significant step in RTU’s expanding network of international linkages to support holistic youth development.
