RizIndo 2025: Pandayang Rizalia Intensifies Academic, Research, Extension Capability through Partnership with Indonesian HEIs

Rizal Technological University (RTU) enters a historic collaboration with Indonesian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for collaborative innovation in education, research, and extension. The university welcomed various Indonesian institutions on June 9, 2025, at the SNAGAH Penthouse for a signing ceremony that will usher in a smarter ASEAN through meaningful partnerships.

The event opened with an inspiring message from Dr. Magno M. Quendangan, Vice President of Research, Innovation, and Extension Services (VPRIES). Dr. Quendangan emphasized the importance of strengthening academic alliances and fostering a research culture anchored in innovation and inclusion. He reminded the participants that when institutions with shared values converge, they transcend borders—and RizIndo stands as a testament to that very vision.

Dr. Sri Astuti Indriyati, Rector of Universitas Persada Indonesia, extended his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by RTU and shared the significance of building such academic bridges. His message underscored how collaborations like these pave the way for impactful, cross-cultural growth in the region.

Courtesy of the efforts and spearhead of RTU’s International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), under the leadership of Instr. Donato Estocada, the university signed separate Memoranda of Understandings (MOUs) and Memoranda of Agreements (MOAs) with various esteemed partner institutions, both academic and industry-based:

The partnership visit was also attended by Dr. Ryan Manuel F. Guido, Director of Research, Development, and Innovation Office (RDIO), and other Deans and Directors from different colleges and offices of the university.

The event marks a significant leap forward in RTU’s vision of fostering impactful, regional partnerships in research and innovation. It reaffirms the university’s role as a catalyst for academic collaboration and knowledge exchange across the ASEAN region.
