In a rare collaboration between the academe and an advocacy-based pageantry, Rizalianos and delegates of Miss Philippines Earth 2025 had a fun-filled day on June 16, 2025, at the Rizal Technological University (RTU) Mandaluyong Main Campus.

Pandayang Rizalia welcomed the delegates of this year’s Miss Philippines Earth composed of environmentalist queens from the different cities of the Philippines, including representatives of Filipino communities in certain cities in the United States.

From inviting the beauties in an exhibition of Tinikling to a participative demonstration of the Rizalianos prowess in debate, students from RTU spared no opportunity in leveling up the eco-interaction between Pandayang Rizalia and Miss Philippines Earth.

In return, the delegates of MPE also showed that beyond advocacies and a heart for the planet, creativity and talent is also something that these candidates possess. In a creative talent competition hosted through the partnership, some delegates showed the Filipino artistry they are proud of.

Eco-interactions like this allows everyone to be involved in advocacies for the environment. As passionate Filipinos are in pageantry, Miss Philippines Earth serves as a platform for environmental protection advocacies through beauty competition. As champions of sustainability, RTU welcomes MPE’s visit as a channel for students to get interested in conserving our natural environment.
