Faculty Members Attend In-Person Workshop on Generative AI and Bibliometric Strategies

Faculty members from the Rizal Technological University (RTU) College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA) recently participated in a three-day in-person workshop focused on the intersection of generative AI and bibliometric strategies in research writing.

Joining the workshop were Instr. Hannah Reambonanza, Program Chair of the BS Office Administration program; Instr. Louie Donato, Program Chair of the BSBA Operations Management program; and Instr. Rholand Tapalla, Program Chair of the BS Accountancy program. The training, held from May 29 to 31, 2025, at the Dr. Mariano C. Lao Global Studies Center, Silliman University in Dumaguete City, was designed to enhance participants’ ability to produce high-impact research outputs.

The comprehensive workshop covered two interconnected themes: Generative AI in Research Writing and Boosting Impact Factor through Literature Analytics and Bibliometric Strategies. Led by Dr. Dave E. Marcial, an expert in AI integration and research analytics, the sessions provided participants with the latest methodologies and tools to refine research writing, streamline methodologies, and improve the visibility and impact of academic work.

The RTU delegation’s involvement reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and research innovation.
