Extensionists from the various colleges, institutes, and offices of Rizal Technological University (RTU) proudly presented their proposals for new and ongoing projects in a series of sessions of the 2026 In-House Review organized by the Extension and Community Services Office (ECSO). This year’s review scrutinized 6 new and 69 ongoing project proposals.
Spearheaded by ECSO, the In-House Review is an annual activity that evaluates and assesses extension service and program proposals submitted by faculty and employee extensionists from RTU. The activity also serves as an opportunity for the university to ensure that the proposals comply with the existing policies and guidelines set by the Commission on Higher Education.
With the panel of evaluators’ expertise, the projects were reviewed to assess the relevance, impact, and compliance of each proposal. The panel of evaluators was headed by Dr. Magno M. Quendangan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, who was joined by his co-chair, Asst. Prof. Ricardo Momongan, Jr., panel members Dr. Robelyn Bautista and Mr. Mark Anthony Gallego, and the deans and extension coordinators of each college in RTU.
As the university continues to capitalize on its expertise across various fields to contribute to community development, the In-House Review affirms RTU’s commitment to serving the greater community through comprehensive, relevant extension programs.
