The official Theater Group of Rizal Technological University (RTU), Dulaang Rizalia clinched multiple awards and recognitions for their Theatrical Play, titled “ Blondina ng Pamilya Molina”, at the TAMPOK: TMI Theatre and Short Film Festival 2025, held on December 6-7, 2025.
The exceptional troupe, under the supervision of RTU’s Cultural Affairs Unit (CAU), showcased their production at the St. Francis Theater of the Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, as part of the cultural festival organized by Tanghalan Mandaluyong, Inc. (TMI).
Blondina ng Pamilya Molina was an all-Rizaliano production, written by Gino Bayotlang and directed by Frances Fiona Oladive. It starred the acting talents of Aileen Raquepo, Audrey Albañez, Romar Llamado, and Roshelle Marie Gealon.
The production was met with a monumental and heartfelt response, culminating to an award-winning success, besting other professional productions. With the masterful showing of Dulaang Rizalia, TMI awarded the theater group with the Best Play (Champion), Best Director, Best Stage Manager, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Audience Choice, Best Promotion, and Most Active Group Awards.
The significant victory and the recognitions are a testament to Dulaang Rizalia’s masterful storytelling, dedicated preparation, and high-caliber theatrical artistry. The group’s win demonstrates the prowess of Rizalianos’ cultural talents and love for the arts.
Pandayang Rizalia continues to hone talents such as the members of Dulaang Rizalia through the efforts and initiatives of its Cultural Affairs Unit. With RTU’s commitment to students’ holistic development, including cultural literacy and skills development, more Rizalianos are poised to be in the center of the limelight, showcasing what it takes to be a Rizaliano performer.
