The Rizal Technological University (RTU) Research and Linkages group visited BauerTek Pharmaceutical Technologies Corporation in Guiguinto, Bulacan on September 16, 2025 to discuss upcoming projects and industry-academe collaborations.

Heading the RTU delegation was Dr. Magno M. Quendangan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services. He was joined by Assoc. Prof. Donato E. Estocada, Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office and Head of the Technology Development Transfer Commercialization Unit; Assoc. Prof. John Eric O. Estrellado, Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Office; and Asst. Prof. Patrocinio O. Macalinao, Head of Mushroom and Biotech Research & Development Unit.

The team was warmly welcomed by Rigel Gomez, President of BauerTek Pharmaceutical Technologies. The visit included a guided tour of BauerTek’s state-of-the-art facilities and in-depth discussions on forthcoming collaborative initiatives in research and technology development.

This meeting signaled a strong commitment to forging partnerships that will drive innovation and benefit both the academic and industrial sectors. RTU encourages its community and stakeholders to stay engaged as new programs and developments emerge from this promising collaboration.
