RTU Strengthens Global Linkages and Celebrates Student Excellence in 2025 PEMO-HRM Joint Events

Rizal Technological University (RTU), through its Human Resource Management Department and in collaboration with the Program and Events Management Office (PEMO), successfully held the 2025 PEMO-HRM Joint Events: Cross-Border MOA Signing Ceremony and 5th HR Parangal on August 1, 2025, at the SNAGAH Bldg. Penthouse of RTU Mandaluyong Main Campus.

With the theme “Strengthening Connections Beyond Frontiers,” the event brought together university officials, faculty members, graduating students, alumni, industry leaders, and international academic partners in a powerful celebration of partnership and recognition.

One of the event’s highlights was the Cross-Border MOA Signing Ceremony, which marked the formalization of collaborative agreements between RTU and various national and international institutions. These partnerships aim to expand opportunities in the areas of internship placements, joint training programs, academic research, and faculty exchanges—a move that reinforces RTU’s dedication to global engagement and industry relevance.

Following the signing was the 5th HR Parangal, a tribute to the graduating class of BSBA-HRM students, recognizing their academic excellence, leadership in service, internship performance, and community involvement. The event was a heartfelt moment of pride and inspiration, underscoring the department’s belief in celebrating holistic student achievement. For the HRM Class of 2025, the event served as both a celebration and a send-off; a reminder that their journey does not end with graduation, but continues in the communities and organizations they will soon serve.

The event’s significance lies in its alignment with CHED Memorandum Orders No. 1, s. 2015 (Internationalization of Philippine Higher Education) and No. 9, s. 2013 (Internship Program Standards), as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). These frameworks serve as guiding pillars in RTU’s continuous mission to elevate education, promote employability, and foster inclusive partnerships.

The 2025 PEMO-HRM Joint Events was a testament to what can be achieved when people, purpose, and partnerships come together. It marked not only a milestone for the HRM Department but also a deeper commitment of Pandayang Rizalia in building bridges that transcend borders, disciplines, and generations.
