RTU R&D Sector Hosts Research Project Caravan 2025

The Research, Development, and Innovation Office (RDIO) of Rizal Technological University (RTU) successfully launched the Research Project Caravan 2025 on January 30 at the Pasig Campus and January 31 at the Boni Campus. The two-day event aimed to equip researchers with the skills and knowledge needed to elevate their research endeavors.

Dr. Magno M. Quendangan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services (VPRIES), graced the event and challenged the faculty members to take the next step in their research journeys—whether by refining their research ideas, forming collaborative teams, or applying for funding opportunities. He emphasized that through pioneering relevant research initiatives, the RTU community could contribute significantly to the attainment of the university’s mission.

Dr. Ryan Manuel D. Guido, RDIO Director, led the presentation on the process of Research Project Proposal Writing and New Policies. This was followed by a session on Line Item Budget, facilitated by Instr. Jason B. Kalaw, Chief of the Center of Astronomy Research and Development (CARD).

The program concluded with an open forum moderated by Instr. Cheryl Lyn Ayuste, Deputy Director of RDIO, where participants raised questions and clarified points discussed during the sessions.

RTU continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering a research culture through initiatives like the Research Project Caravan 2025, preparing faculty and students to contribute significantly to various fields of inquiry.
