Pandayang Rizalia Strengthens Internationalization Push at CHED-NCR’s aRANKada FLAIR 2025

Rizal Technological University (RTU) actively participated in the NCR aRANKada FLAIR 2025, a strategic capacity-building initiative organized by the Commission on Higher Education – National Capital Region (CHED-NCR). The event took place from August 27 to 28, 2025, at Far Eastern University, Sampaloc, Manila, under the theme “Advancing International Rankings and Notable Knowledge Across Diverse IZN Achievements.”

RTU was represented by Instr. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), and Asst. Prof. John Eric O. Estrellado, Director of the Research Development and Innovation Office (RDIO). 

The event is part of the CHED-NCR’s commitment to positioning the National Capital Region as the prime hub of higher education excellence. It focuses on deepening institutional readiness and accelerating progress toward international rankings through targeted workshops and mentoring.

“As RTU advances its internationalization agenda, initiatives like aRANKada FLAIR provide crucial guidance and frameworks to ensure our programs meet global benchmarks,” said Instr. Estocada. “We are committed to expanding RTU’s global partnerships and strengthening our international presence”, he added.

Asst. Prof. Estrellado also said, “Our drive to boost research and innovation is intricately linked to our internationalization efforts. This workshop equips us with the tools and insights to elevate RTU as a recognized center for research and academic excellence worldwide.”

RTU’s participation in this flagship CHED-NCR initiative underscores its resolve to contribute significantly to the region’s stature in global higher education and to showcase notable achievements across various internationalization endeavors.
