Student researchers from Rizal Technological University’s (RTU) College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy–Marketing Management Department presented their research studies at the NaSRIC 2026: National Student Research and Innovation Conference organized by Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges.
Representing RTU under Track 12: Digital Marketing and Consumer Behavior, the Junior Marketistas showcased research studies focused on consumer engagement, brand communication, and sensory marketing in today’s evolving marketplace.
One of the presented studies, titled “Brand Jingles and Their Impact on Consumer Recall, Perception, and Purchase Intentions: A Social Media Engagement Perspective,” was presented by Loise Agustin, Stephen Ashley Corpus, Carla Herrera, and Jilliane Crystel Sadaya. The study explored how brand jingles influence consumer recall and purchasing intentions through social media engagement.
Meanwhile, the study “The Impact of Tactile Marketing on Consumer Perception, Attitude, and Purchase Behavior” was presented by Manuela Yvette Dacuya, Miguel Dindo N. Garcia, Ken Lester L. Leyto, Jefferson M. Soledad, and Jenny Lou B. Macugay. Their research examined the role of tactile marketing strategies in shaping consumer attitudes and purchase behavior.
Adding to RTU’s participation in the national conference was the presentation of the study titled “Visual Appeal and Entertainment Spaces in Consumer Shopping Behavior and Loyalty in Lifestyle Malls” by Jankaye R. Arriba, Vanessa S. Casundo, Jyrah V. Cose, Mae Ann S. Olavides, and Marianne Grace Orcenas, under the same research track. The study highlighted the influence of mall aesthetics and entertainment spaces on consumer shopping behavior and customer loyalty.
All research groups were mentored by Assoc. Prof. John Eric O. Estrellado, Research Adviser, whose guidance supported the students in developing and presenting research contributions in the field of marketing and consumer behavior.
The participation of RTU Junior Marketistas in NaSRIC 2026 highlights the university’s continued engagement in research-driven learning and national academic collaboration through student-led scholarly presentations.
