TUP and RTU Formalize Strategic Academic Partnership Through MOA Signing

The Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) and Rizal Technological University (RTU) formally strengthened their institutional partnership through the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held on March 2, 2026, at the TUP Audio-Visual Room, Administration Building. The event marked a strategic collaboration between two leading state universities committed to advancing technological education, research, and innovation, as well as community engagement in the Philippines.

The ceremonial program convened university officials, faculty members, and guests in a structured proceeding that underscored the academic and administrative significance of the partnership. Guest registration was followed by the opening program and remarks delivered by TUP President Engr. Reynaldo P. Ramos. In his address, he emphasized the importance of inter-institutional collaboration in enhancing academic quality, research productivity, and responsive extension services amid evolving national and global educational demands.

Representing RTU, Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, the University President, delivered the partner institution’s message of commitment.
