Rizal Technological University (RTU) continues to champion innovation and global collaboration as it welcomed Techedify, an international technology training company in the USA, for a strategic meeting with the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), the Research Development and Innovation Office (RDIO), and the Institute of Flexible Learning and Digital Education (IFLDE).
With the Techedify delegation led by its CEO and Founder, Mr. Joseph Baek from the United States, who emphasized the vital role of partnerships in ensuring inclusive access to cutting-edge digital learning opportunities, the meeting centered on four key initiatives aimed at advancing the university’s leadership in Artificial Intelligence (AI):
- Equipping RTU educators with the skills to integrate AI in teaching and research through AI Training for faculty.
- Conducting AI-focused competitions to provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills using AI.
- Offering AI Microcredentials, stackable certification programs that enhance professional development and global competitiveness.
- Establishing a dedicated center for AI innovation, research, and collaboration within the university, to be known as the RTU AI Hub.
University officials expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration, recognizing its potential to accelerate RTU’s internationalization efforts while positioning the institution as a hub for future-ready education in the Philippines.
This initiative marks another milestone in RTU’s commitment to harnessing technology for academic excellence, global engagement, and sustainable innovation.
