Rizalianos Unite for ‘Febulous Valentine’ Celebration

The setting was filled with love, laughter, and companionship as the sun set over the Rizal Technological University (RTU)— Mandaluyong Main Campus, February 14–15, 2025. Rizalianos gathered to celebrate “Febulous Days: A Love-Filled Celebration.”

“Febulous Days” was a two-day event that gathered students, faculty, and staff from various colleges and departments to promote unity, inclusivity, and social awareness. The event demonstrated RTU’s commitment to creating a culture of love, respect, and compassion among the people it serves.

The first day of “Febulous Days” began with lovable booth operations that provided a variety of activities and services promoting self-love, self-care, and social responsibility. The open mic/HIV testing, which was done in collaboration with health advocates, aimed to raise awareness and education about HIV/AIDS.

The second day featured incredible talent, creativity, and energy. Mr. Richard Pascual and Ms. Mary May Pagaran, the masters of ceremonies, made the event run smoothly and enjoyable for all attendees. The audience then enjoyed a series of performances, including RTU Dulaang Rizalia’s theatrical presentation, RTU Kultura Rizalia Dance Troupe’s energetic dance routine, and special performances by Marron Bongaitan, Hey Duke!, As of Now PH, and Vulneraboys. The event included an icebreaker, a category game, and the announcement of the January Soft Project winners.

“Febulous Days” was a huge success, demonstrating RTU’s dedication to principles like social responsibility, love, respect, inclusivity and creating a safe and student-friendly environment for every Rizaliano. The occasion depicted the value of solidarity and friendship in bringing about constructive change and creating a compassionate and empathetic society.
