Rizal Technological University (RTU) has entered into a strategic partnership with EmoticoreAI Co., Ltd. to advance the integration of artificial intelligence into public service delivery, formalizing the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by key officials from both institutions.

The MOU signing ceremony brought together RTU’s Executive Committee, led by University President Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, alongside Dr. Rodolfo L. Ducut, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Kristine Y. Opulencia, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs; and Dr. Magno M. Quendangan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services. Also present was Assoc. Prof. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office.

Representing EmoticoreAI was Alex Takeda Lagata Jr., Deputy CEO and Co-Founder of the technology company, which operates under the principle “Beyond Smart, Deeply Human.”

The partnership aims to leverage AI capabilities to enhance RTU’s public service initiatives, marking a significant step in the university’s digital transformation and commitment to innovation-driven community engagement.
