More Scholarship Opportunities for Rizalianos as RTU Signs MOU with Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation

Early February 4, 2026, Rizal Technological University (RTU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc. (FBDFI) to strengthen FBDFI’s mission and for RTU to serve as liaison between the foundation and Rizalianos. The newly signed MOU is expected to provide indispensable support to countless more Rizalianos, as it is a 5-year partnership between institutions.

The partnership was sealed with University President Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, FBDFI Managing Director Elirine S. Yaneza, and FBDFI Treasurer Ma. Lourdes R. Reyes as a signatory from both parties. Instr. Rhoda Malabanan, Head of the Scholarship and Financial Assistance Unit, and Mr. Ezeviel E. Frago, FBDFI Community Relations Officer, stood as witnesses to the signing ceremony.

Under the partnership, the foundation will extend its Bayani Scholarship Program to Rizalianos who are bona fide residents of Toaguig City. The scholarship program provides monthly financial support and educational assistance to students who show grit and perseverance in pursuing their education.

With this initiative, RTU continues to champion the needs of its students, ensuring that quality education remains accessible and affordable to all Rizalianos. More than just an additional scholarship program available to students, partnering with FBDFI is a testament to Pandayang Rizalia’s strong commitment to eliminating financial barriers to providing quality higher education to Filipino students.
