Marking the end of a chapter in the history of Rizal Technological University (RTU), Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, University President, delivered her third and final State of the University Address (SUA) on October 15 at the University Quadrangle, signalling the beginning of a new era for Pandayang Rizalia and its leadership.

During her address, Dr. Yangco outlined the growth of the university through her 8 years of service to its community. She highlighted the accomplishments of the university in strengthening its support for its academic programs through technological integration, enhancement of administrative support, and strengthened policies that ensure the university’s conducive and welcoming environment for all members of the Rizaliano community.

She also underscored how her administration has been true to its initial promise where technology will drive the progress of academic instruction, where all the needs of the students will be met and considered, where research will be a foundation for growth, where technology will be the focus of community services, where workforce management will prosper, and where the financial resources of the university will be improved and allocated through good governance.

For 8 years, Dr. Yangco has led RTU through continued progress and development, masterfully using her expertise, abilities, and leadership for the entire Rizaliano community.

As the University enters a period of transition to welcome its new leadership and a new chapter in its history, the Rizaliano community expresses its gratitude for Dr. Yangco’s servant leadership and unwavering commitment to the development and improvement of her beloved Pandayang Rizalia.
