Pandayang Rizalia and AIT Thailand Open New International Opportunities for Rizalianos

On November 26, 2025, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand visited Rizal Technological University (RTU), through the coordination efforts of the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), to propose and introduce new global education opportunities for Rizalianos through the AIT Information Session held at the SNAGAH Penthouse.

Anchored on the theme, “Discover pathways to world-class education at AIT Thailand,” the session aimed to introduce globally competitive academic opportunities and to inspire students and institutional partners toward meaningful international mobility and innovation-driven collaborations.

The information session attracted a diverse mix of learners and academicians, including student council officers, organizational leaders, faculty and college representatives, administrative departments, and institutional partners, collectively reflecting strong interest in advancing global education and institutional partnerships and highlighting the university’s growing network of international engagement.

In his welcome address, Assoc. Prof. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of IALO, emphasized the role of international linkages in shaping future-ready graduates equipped for global academic and professional landscapes. His message echoed the institution’s dedication to expanding educational access beyond national borders and fostering partnerships that support innovation, sustainability, and global competence.

A key highlight of the session was the information-rich discussion of the resource speaker, Ranadheer Mandadi, Program Director of AIT Office of Special Degree Programs. With extensive expertise in international program development, he guided participants through AIT’s postgraduate pathways, scholarship mechanisms, admission processes, and career-aligned academic structures. His session also underscored AIT’s hallmark edge in technological innovation, global research impact, industry collaboration, and sustainability-focused graduate programs.

Participants were highly engaged throughout the session, particularly during the open forum, where they raised thoughtful inquiries on degree customization, cross-disciplinary study options, dormitory support, internship components, costs and funding pathways, and potential areas for future institutional cooperation.

The AIT Information Session served as a compelling gateway for students and academic partners to explore innovation-centric international education. It reinforced the university’s mission of building a globally interconnected academic ecosystem, empowering students with world-class study opportunities, strengthening institutional mobility frameworks, and advancing long-term partnerships that cultivate innovation, sustainability, and leadership within the region and beyond.
