The Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) – Mandaluyong, in collaboration with YES Pasig, successfully hosted both the Entrep Day and the General Assembly on February 23, 2025, bringing together the entire Entrepreneurship Department for a day of innovation and collaboration aimed at promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Entrep Day, themed “ENTREP-YES-TAHAN: Sustainable Innovations featuring New Gen Inventors,” highlighted the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of 4th-year students as they showcased their sustainable products to the public. The event allowed participants to engage with the community, promote eco-friendly practices, and receive valuable feedback on their innovative projects. Additionally, 1st-year and 3rd-year students celebrated Art Month through vibrant dance and cultural performances using eco-friendly materials—emphasizing the importance of sustainability through the arts while showcasing the diversity of their cultures.

Complementing the Entrep Day, the General Assembly carried the theme “ENTREXUS: Uniting Young Entrepreneurs for a Sustainable Future.” The assembly provided students with significant insights into the organization’s mission, activities, and how they can align their entrepreneurial efforts with the SDGs. It served as a platform to inspire collaboration and encourage students to contribute to building a more sustainable future through entrepreneurship.

The success of both events was led by Ms. Shahana Binasing, CEO of YES Mandaluyong, along with the dedicated YES officers from both Mandaluyong and Pasig chapters, with the unwavering support of their adviser, Instr. Cyrille Ann Rafael. Their collective efforts created a memorable and impactful experience for the entire Entrepreneurship Department.

 These events not only showcased the students’ talents and innovations but also fostered a sense of unity and motivation, leaving everyone excited and driven to champion sustainable entrepreneurship in the years to come.
