RTU Students Showcase Research Excellence at the 8th International Conference on Asian and Philippine Studies

 

Rizalianos from the  Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Major in Marketing Management recently showcased their research at the 8th International Conference on Asian and Philippine Studies (ICAPS), a conference organized by De La Salle University DANUM and the College of Liberal Arts. The conference, themed “Language, Culture, and Media,” took place both virtually and onsite at the Krisalis-Benilde Retreat and Conference Center in Tagaytay City on May 29-31, attracting participants from local and international universities.

Representing RTU’s academic excellence and research acumen, Melgen D. Torion presented her study on the differences of multigenerational perspectives on romantic advertising campaigns. Sicily R. Setsona discussed the effect of influencers’ negative publicity on consumers’ perception of brand image, while Josephine Anne R. Jumuad shared her findings on the impact of product reviews and ratings on consumer purchases on online shopping platforms. Their research presentations were guided by Asst. Prof. John Eric O. Estrellado, CBEA Marketing Management faculty and Director of the University Public Affairs Office.

Their successful participation at the 8th ICAPS Conference underscores RTU’s commitment to fostering scholarly excellence and promoting a culture of research in the field of marketing management.
