RTU Strengthens Global Connections at NAFSA 2025 Conference in USA

San Diego, California —Rizal Technological University (RTU) proudly participated in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo, held from May 27 to 30 at the San Diego Convention Center. Representing RTU at this significant international event were University President Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco and Mr. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO).

The Philippine delegation at NAFSA 2025 also included Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, highlighting the country’s united effort to expand educational ties and showcase the strengths of Philippine higher education institutions on the global stage.

The NAFSA 2025 Conference, with the theme “Purpose, Place, and Partnership,” brought together over 8,000 participants from more than 100 countries, including educators, administrators, and policymakers committed to advancing global education and cooperation. Attendees engaged in numerous sessions, workshops, and networking events aimed at fostering international collaborations and sharing best practices.

RTU’s delegation actively participated in key discussions and engaged with peers from across the globe to identify innovative strategies for enhancing the university’s internationalization efforts. Their presence underscored RTU’s dedication to building meaningful global partnerships and elevating its role in the international education community.
