Four seasoned accreditors from Rizal Technological University (RTU) recently attended a special training session on institutional accreditation. The event, organized by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), took place from May 28-30 at Cebu Technological University.

The RTU representatives included Dr. Edna P. Conwi, Quality Assurance Office Director, Engr. Nestor Competente, Dr. Roland Valencia, and Dr. Jeremias Buraga. Their participation highlights RTU’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing quality assurance standards in higher education.

Dr. Milabel E. Ho, Executive Director of AACCUP, was alongside the RTU accreditors, symbolizing the collaborative spirit and dedication to excellence shared by both RTU and AACCUP.

The special training aimed to equip participants with advanced knowledge and skills necessary for institutional accreditation, ensuring that academic programs meet rigorous quality standards. This initiative is part of AACCUP’s ongoing efforts to uphold the highest levels of educational quality among its member institutions.
