RTU Joins Multi-Institutional MOU Signing with Philippine SUCs and HEIs in Beijing

Beijing, China — April 10, 2025 — Rizal Technological University (RTU) joined a collective academic effort bringing together several State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from the Philippines for a multi-institutional Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony held in Beijing, China.

The event was held at the Zhongguancun Software Park, Dongbeiwang, Haidian District, Beijing, and was organized in coordination with the Beijing Phihua International Education Technology Co., Ltd. RTU was represented by Director Donato Z. Estocada of the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), who facilitated the collaborative agreements with the participating institutions.

Witnessing the signing were Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Chairperson of the RTU Board of Regents, and Ms. Maria May-i L. Fabros, Third Secretary and Vice Consul of the Philippine Embassy in Beijing. 

Among the partner institutions were the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU), Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), Southern Philippines Agri-business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), Mabalacat City College (MCC), St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP), University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL), and Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT).
