RTU Honors Junior, Senior High, and Lifelong Learners in Recognition Rites

June 28, 2024—Rizal Technological University (RTU) celebrated the achievements of its Junior High School (JHS), Senior High School (SHS), and Lifelong Learners (LLL) during the recognition rites held on June 27 and 28 at the RTU Plenary Hall, Main Campus. The event, themed “Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas” (Filipino Youth for a Stronger Future of the Philippines), underscored the vital role of the youth in shaping the nation’s future.


The ceremony was spearheaded by the College of Education (CED) Dean, Dr. Wendelyn Samarita, and JHS and SHS Principal, Dr. Milany Averilla. They highlighted the importance of academic excellence and the pivotal contributions of both students and their families to the educational journey.

Among the highlights of the ceremony was the awarding of medals and certificates to top-performing students, recognizing their commitment to academic excellence. The event was also an opportunity to celebrate the collective effort of the RTU community in nurturing and developing the potential of its students.


The two-day event not only served as a milestone for the students but also as a celebration of the collaborative efforts between educators, students, and parents.
